If you’re a Dave Matthews Band fan, chances are you know 2011 will mark the band’s 20-year anniversary. In fact, chances are there’s not much you don’t already know about the band and their career.
And that’s exactly why on June 7, 2011, So Much to Say: 20 Years with the Dave Matthews Band (formerly titled Still Here Dancing) will be published to coincide with DMB’s twentieth anniversary. This book will reflect the experiences we’ve all shared together over the past two decades. It will include everything from the early days at Trax to the end of the 2010 tour.
So it’s your turn to speak up …
…. to share your favorite memories of the band, the community, and the experiences you’ve had seeing them live—whether it was in 1994 or 2004. So Much to Say is designed to reflect the spirit of the DMB community, which has played such a huge role in the band’s history from taping to touring. This is your story.
Please note that the submission deadline for story and photo submissions has passed and So Much to Say is currently in production. Thanks to all of you for the overwhelming response–I can hardly wait to share the end result of all of your efforts. It was a true pleasure reading all of the funny, beautiful, and heartwarming stories all of you had to share about the band, the community, and all of your related adventures that have spanned almost twenty years’ time.
